This year our annual Gala event is taking a vacation! Join us for this exclusive Luau filled with fun, lively musical performances by Ukulele Bronies and Bolt the Super-Pony, hors d’oeuvres, a dance lesson from Crackle’s Cousin Cosplay, and more! NOTE: the dress code for this event has been adjusted to fit the theme, please see below! A ticket can be obtained from Registration or with any pre-purchased Package or Sponsor Badge.
You should plan to dress in a tropical vacation-style fit for a lūʻau! Casual, colorful, and festive vibes only. Hawaiian shirts, khaki, linen or denim shorts/pants, tropical prints, crochet or knit tops, flowy dresses/skirts, and tropical prints are all appropriate options. Accessorize to the max with leis, shells, flowers, or even grass skirts (with appropriate undergarments). Cosplay is allowed as long as it still falls within these guidelines. Oh, and keep the swimsuits at home – shoot for “a tropical dinner out”, not “a day at the beach”. However, if anyone still wants to wear traditional Gala formalwear, that will still be allowed.
Keep it festive to help everyone feel like they are being transported to a tropical getaway to kick the convention off right. Ripped or torn clothing, sweatpants, hoodies, basic t-shirts, and casual/off-theme clothes (aside from traditional Gala formalwear) will not be permitted to enter.
We reserve the right to deny or turn away clothing or cosplay deemed inappropriate. We will not provide refunds to guests denied entrance for failing to meet the Dress Code requirements. If you have any questions about the Dress Code, please contact us via social media or ask a volunteer at the convention.
