Big Jim Miller
Supervising Director, Storyboard Artist
“Big” Jim Miller is a 25-year veteran of the animation industry, based in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Jim Miller started his career as a storyboard artist on Cartoon Network’s “Ed, Edd n’ Eddy” and stayed for its entire 10-year run, and moved on to an extended time on “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic”, where he was a storyboard artist, storyboard supervisor, and Supervising Series Director for over half of its entire run.
Since the end of MLP G4 in 2019, Jim has worked as a director on a 2 season revival of “Johnny Test”, as well as his first foray into directing a CG animated show with 4 half-hour seasonally themed specials for “Strawberry Shortcake”, both of which are currently available on Netflix.
Jim remains alive and still lives in Vancouver with his partner and pets.
