Marÿke Hendrikse
Voice Actor - Gilda, Sonata Dusk
Marÿke Hendrikse was born in Nassau, Bahamas, and immigrated to Canada when she was young, but not so young that she forgot the sunlight.
Marÿke Hendrikse has been acting professionally since she was a teenager, in theatre, on camera, and on the mic. Some of her favourite gigs are the monkey in Phantom of the Opera, Revy in the English dub of Black Lagoon, little Gilda in MLP:FIM, and the time she sang the national anthem at old Comiskey Park, not so far from here.
Marÿke loves reading, hip hop, March Madness, cats, the sound of wet hair being cut, ice-cold Coca-Cola, the Cinephobe podcast, and going to live music events. Wishing everyone a wonderful con!!
