Once upon a time, in the magical realm of Illinois, there lived a fairly ordinary man. Then he started volunteering at pony conventions and his life got a lot more fun and adventurous! Calvin, who goes by undead_rattler online and at conventions, currently volunteers at Whinny City, Ponyville Ciderfest, HarmonyCon, and occasionally helps out with PonyFest Online when he’s able. In addition, he travels the Midwestern anime convention circuit with a group called Mandatory Fun Facility to provide tabletop, arcade, and video gaming to several Ani.Me conventions including Anime-Zap!, Anime-Zing!, Anime Midwest, Anime Milwaukee, and Con+Alt+Del. When not doing conventions he plays with 3d printers and laser cutters and other neat tech.
