Chris Britton created the voice of STAR SWIRL THE BEARDED in MY LITTLE PONY.

He is also known for the voice of MR SINISTER in X-MEN and X-MEN ’97, DETECTIVE YAGAMI in the anime series DEATH NOTE. Other classic characters added to his resume was DR. DOOM in IRON MAN: ARMOURED ADVENTURES, in the feature film THOR: TALES OF ASGARD, the voice of ODIN and many other characters in animated series

Born and raised in Toronto, he graduated from York U. with an Hons BA in theater. Upon graduating he spent two seasons at both the Stratford and Shaw Festivals and worked at theaters across Canada, The Hartford Stage and the Astor Place Theater in NYC.

On camera credits include SILENT HILL, RIVERDALE, THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW, THE FINAL CUT opposite Robin Williams, DEACONS FOR DEFENSE with Forest Whitaker, CHAMBERLIN LOCKE in LOCKE AND KEY, Peter Greenaway’s NIGHT WATCHING, John Carpenter’ CIGARETTE BURNS and many television series.
